HEALTH EDUCATION & WELLNESS

PREGNANCY AND PARENTING RESOURCES

We provide comprehensive maternal health & baby education for all patients who deliver at O’Connor Hospital by offering free prenatal classes prior to their baby’s birth. We work closely with hospital nurses and health care providers to ensure that our patients will have a standard education and seamless care.

We recommend you view the Ready, Set, Baby booklet in preparation for your childbirth.  This is an excellent educational resource to counsel prenatal families about best care practices in maternity and the benefits and management of lactation.

For high quality prenatal and gynecological care, learn more about O’Connor Medical Clinic’s Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN) services.

Classes are offered in multiple languages and are taught by experienced Nurses and Health Educators. We recommend patients sign up for classes as early as 20 weeks of pregnancy. Partners are encouraged to attend.
