Acute Care (Inpatient Therapy) Services

As members of a multidisciplinary team, Inpatient Therapy staff collaborate with your physician, nurses, and case managers to provide a comprehensive, coordinated care plan during your hospital stay. 

Our highly skilled team consists of Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech Therapists that are trained in the latest techniques to provide patient-centered therapy to help you regain your function and independence in a compassionate and welcoming environment. 

Physical Therapy

Our Physical Therapists will assist you to maximize your functional independence as well as promote wellness through improved strength, flexibility, quality of movement and decreased pain.  Treatment focuses on functional mobility training, gait and balance training, neuromuscular re-education, therapeutic exercise, aerobic conditioning, and equipment recommendations.

Occupational Therapy

Our Occupational Therapists will use a holistic approach to assist you in regaining your functional independence and wellness through improved performance in your activities of daily living (ADLs), functional balance, functional mobility, and functional transfers. Treatment focuses on functional ADL transfer training, ADL retraining, adaptive equipment training, specialized equipment recommendations, neuromuscular re-education, caregiver training, therapeutic activities, and joint protection.

Speech-Language Pathology

Our Speech-Language Pathologists have extensive experience in evaluating and treating patients with neurogenic conditions, degenerative diseases, pulmonary/respiratory compromised conditions, impaired cognitive functioning, swallow and voice disorders. We use the latest techniques to assess and provide therapeutic interventions for speech, language, cognitive-linguistic, swallowing and voice impairments.
