CENTER FOR ADVANCED WOUND CARE AND HYPERBARIC MEDICINE

HYPERBARIC OXYGEN THERAPY

The Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBO) program at O’Connor follows the guidelines of the elite Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society (UHMS). UHMS has the highest standards of care and patient safety to ensure that the utmost quality is maintained within the hyperbaric specialty.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy is an outpatient treatment that involves breathing 100% pure oxygen inside a pressurized chamber. This innovative treatment delivers high concentrations of oxygen to the bloodstream to promote healing and fight infection. It also stimulates the growth of new blood vessels and improves circulation.

Our wound care specialists design personalized hyperbaric oxygen treatment plans for patients based on diagnosis from their referring physician.
